Where I write about all things statistics and research. View more...
When I was little, I never thought I would be working with numbers and actually enjoy it. I went as far as to first start my masters degree in Developmental psychology before figuring out that numbers, or statistics, were my main interest. Luckily, my research masters programme was filled with statistical courses and I got the opportunity to work with other statisticians at the University of Utrecht. After finishing my degree, I felt that data analysis in the commercial world (and even in the academic world) is often subpar in quality. I am passionate about creating and upholding a better standard of data analysis in both worlds. Therefore, I am currently combining work at the university with freelance project-based work outside of the university. This way, fundamental knowledge informs applied data analysis and vice versa. The best of both worlds.
